What forms of payment do you accept for the registration fee?

Credit/Debit cards when registering online. We accept Cash or Checks when registering in person.

Is this race timed?

This race is not individually timed and timing chips are not provided, however, there will be a race clock at the finish line. Although this race is purely for fun, exercise, and improving our youth football programs, there will be awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place participants to cross the finish line in the male, female, male student, and female student divisions.

What type of discounts are available for the race?

The Raider Day 5k is a fund-raiser for our local youth football teams. As a result, no discounts will be provided so that we can maximize our fund-raising efforts.

What is the minimum and maximum age?

You can participate in the walk/run as long as you’re healthy enough to participate in the race.

If I’m unable to race after I sign up, can I get a refund?

What is your refund policy if the race is cancelled for bad weather or some other reason?

If the race organizers cancel the race due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule the race.  In the event the race cannot be rescheduled in a timely fashion, refunds may be issued.

Can I buy apparel without running the race?


Can I make a donation without running the race?

Yes, you can sponsor the race, or make an individual donation.  See the sponsorship page or feel free to contact us with any questions.

What should I wear?

Be sure to check the weather the night before the race to properly prepare.  While weather can vary in Navarre, Florida, it is typically humid and hot.

Can children run the race by themselves?

Not every parent is as speedy or enthusiastic as their small runner.  No, it is not necessary to run with your child, however, you should use your best judgement of their maturity and decision-making abilities.  The parent is responsible for the safety and security of their child.

What time do I need to arrive for the race?

We highly recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to the race start time.  This will allow you to warm-up, use the bathroom, and to not be stressed about making the start line on time.

Are there bathrooms at the 5k?

Bathrooms will be available at the beginning and the end of the race.  However, these may be busy, so try to plan accordingly by using the bathroom before arrival.

Will there be someone to guide me on the course?

Volunteers will be present to guide you along the course.

Is this a closed course (will there be traffic)?

There are portions of the course that are open to traffic.  Be mindful, pay attention to signs and careful of parked or moving cars.

Can I run with a dog or a stroller?


Is this a certified race?

No.  We measure the course to ensure the 5k distance, however, this is not a certified process.  This may leave room for error.

Will there be water-stops setup along the race course?

Yes, there will be water stations set up at about the halfway point and at the finish line.
